Beautiful is the word I would use to describe Hokkaido. The Sceneries are absolutely stunning! STUNNING!!STUNNING!!! Can you imagine the pure mountain air heavy with fog , heavy snow powdery covering the fields and buildings of an amazing nation. I had high feelings with so many positive emotions during the trip. As the pilot started to give an announcement for safe landing and the plane descended on Chitose Airport on an extremely cold and dark afternoon, I began to feel a sense of achievement. Come on,It’s Hokkaido! Since the 311 tsunami occurred in Sendai and Fukushima the prices of tour packages had been lowered and my parents thought that this would be an opportunity to bring the entire family here. The trip covers places such as Otaru, Noboribetsu, Sapporo City and some other places but i can’t remember. It was in total a 6 day trip and I was able to feel what’s it like to be in Japan and of course the beautiful snow. Apparently, a lot of them live a stressful life and have to rely on 3-4 generations to pay off their housing loan debt! However, Japanese are generally very polite and kind people. They have good moral and mostly because they were instilled to have good moral since they were young. Hokkaido is in the northen part of Japan and exports high amount of top quality seafood so obviously, I was privileged to eat all of them. Kidding! It was the only nasty weather of the whole trip, snowing and windy. The ice was still spectacular though. Apart from that, i finally had the guts to run naked infront of many people because their hot springs are like the best all across the world with high amounts of sulphur which is somehow good for health. So it was definitely worth stripping. It was quite challenging when u’re doing it outdoors cause you have to adapt to the sudden change of weather. Just try to picture yourself running out of your house naked when it’s -6 degrees outside .I soon became an onsen addict.Usually when the snow is heavy and the sky is dark, u’ll feel a a bit depressed but it certainly wasn’t the case here.Although Hokkaido was freezing cold, the sun was shining really brightly. As you know,Japan is known as the country of the rising sun. So i wasn’t depressed at all.I walked around Sapporo city and realised just how systematic they are in terms of planning a city, underground trains, safety measures and all that stuff.Hokkaido has the best quality for skiing that attracts skiers from all over the world. Travelling is not merely about playing but it’s also about education.I learnt how put on and take off the skiing equipments and skied like an idiot. It was difficult to even take a picture because it was cold and our gloves were just annoying as hell.As far as i could remember,I lied and said i was a year older to be 18 to experience snow mobile.Felt a lil bit like James Bond. Never estimate young people,i completed the entire journey without getting anyone hurt! Although my finger hurt just a little.I also enjoyed the breathtaking scenery along the ravines.I was so happy.Seafood here is amazing,Ice-creams are amazing here, scenery is amazing, the girls here are AMAZING TOO!!!I saw this stunning cute girl with her mum and little sister returning from a Japanese temple and became moody the whole day.All i could remember is that her mum drives a blue car! Well, girls come and go but PIZZA IS FOREVER!
